This Access Statement does not contain personal opinions or suitability for those with access needs, but to accountably define the facilities and services that we offer guests.

Introduction

4A Stanley Place is in the City Centre of Chester 280 metres from the centre. The property is situated on a quiet street close to the City Walls. The property is a first floor apartment with two bedrooms.

Pre-Arrival

The nearest Railway Station is one mile from the property, where accessible Taxis are always available. The current Bus Station is 250 metres from the Property at the Forum Centre. Stanley Place is a Cobbled Street with paved walkways, very well lit. Mobility equipment can be hired from Able World in Saltney. We can offer all our documents in Large Print format.

Key Collection, Welcome and Car Paremail

The Keys for the property are in a Key Safe next to Entrance Gate. The Password will be sent via email or text

Parking for one vehicle is available on site and is 26 metres from the main entrance to the apartment. The Car Park is sloping and made of Tarmacadam with a small step (5o mm). Blue Badge Parking is available in Stanley Place. There is a floodlight that works on a PIR overlooking the Car Park

Entrance to Property

The entrance to the property is via a steel gate on level paving. There is a 50mm step into front door. The front door opening width 710 mm into a downstairs hall way, with York stone paving. There is a second entrance door to the apartment of 710 mm width.

Halls, Stairs, Landing, Passageways

There are two flights of carpeted narrow stairs of 660 mm width that lead to the upstairs apartment ( 16 treads in total with 2 right hand rails )

The landing and hallways are carpeted, there is a 4 metre run then three steps down to the next landing, which is 770 mm wide, then 3 metres of 880 mm wide hall way with hand rail.

In the Hallway are LED Ceiling Spotlights, the width is 810mm.

Again Laminate Flooring/Dining

Lounge/Dining Area

The Dining Area is situated in the top corner of the lounge. All floor areas are uneven throughout the Apartment (due to the age of the building) There are three Leather Sofas in the Lounge with a low Coffee Tables.

The Television is situated on the large wall, again Laminate Flooring.

Kitchen

The Kitchen is located after the main Bedroom

The entrance is 660mm wide - No Door. The Oven is 600mm height from the Floor

The Work Top is 915mm high

Height of Cupboards are 1400 mm

Cordless Kettle

Again LED Spotlights and laminate Floor Covering, with a small ramp

Master Bedroom

The width of the door opening is 28"/710mm. Furniture can be moved around/rearranged.

The Bedroom has a King Sized Bed.

The Width of the space at the side of the bed is one metre.

The Room is lit by LED Ceiling Spotlights

White Walls and Grey Laminate Flooring.

All Bedding is non-allergenic.

Bathrooms

The bathroom is adjacent to the Kitchen, 6 metres from Bedroom and on level flooring.

The Entrance is 700mm wide

In the Bathroom the Shower is over the Bath, the Taps are lever operated on the pedestal wash basin. The room is lit with LED Ceiling Spotlights and has a Mirror Shaving Light with fluorescent tube.

All walls are White with Grey non slip porcelain tiles.

Bedroom two

The door to the bedroom is 670 mm wide.

The bedroom has a 4' wide double bed, space at the side of 450 mm and 650 mm at the end of the bed. Furniture can not be moved around.

En- Suite Bathroom

Access from within the bedroom, door width 675 mm. There is a walk in shower , WC and wash hand basin.

The room is lit with LED ceiling spotlights, has a mirror shaving light.

All walls are white tiles with grey non slip porcelain tiles. Non slip shower mats are provided.

Additional Information

We welcome Assistance Dogs and can offer Water Bowls, there is an outside Courtyard.
